Hi Im a newbie about to get a shiny black 1000s this week after 5 years with a Pegaso. I have been looking for posts regarding luggage hard or soft and also searching on line for things that would fit. Is it just Ducati own hard panniers that fit or are there systems such as Givi or Farma that work. I fitted Peli cases on my last bike by adapting stock frames and Im thinking I could do that again if I knew what hardware might work. Sorry if this is an often repeated question but I have searched quite a bit on this forum and the Multistrada.net one. Any advice would be very useful Thanks
Hi and welcome. On the whole, I think you would be better off looking on eBay for a pair of Ducati boxes for the Multistrada. Fitting others brands is an option but much more difficult. I have heard of ST panniers going on but look odd as the indicator cut outs are in a different location. I don't think the other brands are readily available and the Ducati stuff is made by Givi so the quality is there. Pete
