Lydden Hill On The 23rd

  1. Don't hear much about this place in these forum walls .
Is Lydden Hill not liked that much ??
I'm giving it a go on sunday seeing as the forecast is dry, just wondered if anyone had any opinions about this place

  2. Went there back in 99. It was fun, bumpy, Brands in reverse.
Facilities somewhat lacking but I had a great day.
I seem to remember it was the end of October and the sun came out.

  3. I used to race there many (many!!) years ago, the circuit is short at only one mile and it was ideal for me as I was in a small class at the time. For bigger bikes I would put it down as a smooth Llandow, short but less bumpy. You won't get much top speed but a couple of the corners are interesting.

More suited to a small bike than something a bit more powerful.

  4. Cheers guys
i think it's been resurfaced this year so i'm hoping it'll be ok .
thought it would be an interesting track to try as they had some spaces left for sunday and it was £90 for the day which i thought was ok for a weekend price .
i'm on my 749 so not as powerful as alot of the newer Ducati's , hopefully i'll get out of 2nd gear
Track riding is quite new to me , only done 2 others , i've done snetterton 300 and brands indy which was my favorite out of the 2 .
well i hope it's going to stay dry on the day
