Has anyone bought from this company,were they satisfied with the service they got?I am not a disgruntled customer but am sometimes a bit wary of buying over the internet from a company new to me. Many Thanks
M and P have been around for years, well respected and I've never had an issue with them although I haven't bought much or that often from them
+1 for buying from being OK, their catalogue was a regular freebie with mags. Are M&P and Busters Accessories one and the same? They are both based in Swansea.
^ I think you are right. Didn't they have a huge fire fairly recently? Seem like a good company overall have had several sprocket/chain sets and a battery or two at competitive prices over the years.
Guy used to own M&P then sold it and created Busters. M&P and MPS where bought by a equity company that went bust. A management buy out then saw M&P as it is now. Old owner of MPS now runs Nippy Normans - mostly BMW stuff.
Used them many times over the years. Have found them generally good, but their service can be pretty slow.
It's worth getting on their emailing list. I got an excellent deal on some Shell Ultra Fully Synthetic Oil last year.
You can't go wrong with M&Ps. They just built a brand new factory after a big fire. I'm always calling in there for parts. Very good service.
I've ordered a R&G tail tidy for the DRZ400sm I bought the other week. It came within 2 days.....but when it arrived they had sent the wrong one. There is no customer care staff in on a Saturday only sales, so I had to wait till Monday. On the Monday morning I was straight on the phone, a guy arranged a courier to deliver the correct one and collect the wrong one the next day. So all in all, it worked out ok....with just a slight hick up
They've been going for a long time. I've used them a few dozen times over the last 15 years and never had a single problem. I think they sell through eBay too but no noticeable price difference from what i remember.
Looks like I'm the odd one out - used them twice and never again..... Firstly ordered a chain and sprocket kit. Delivered the chain and one sprocket, told the other sprocket was on back order to follow in 4 weeks - what f00king use is that?? On another occasion I received the wrong part, it took them three goes to send the right part.
Made me smile when you described M&P's as a Factory :smile:. The only thing they make there is Food , & that's leased out !!! New shop's good , i call in often , only live a couple of minutes away ...
