So after a couple of weeks of warm weather I decided I'd m.o.t the streetfighter which was a month over due, come day of test there's an inch of snow on the ground well I've not riden in snow since the late 80's not a very pleasant experience. Bike in for a minor service too at Jordans leeds with frozen fingers I arrived to a warm cuppa an hr later was informed the bike had a faulty front brake switch which was working intermittently but at time of test worked nod&wink so got a pass, quote from ducati at Shipley £80 for parts £80 labour erm get bike home clean said switch works perfectly, note to all when bikes been sat 5 months give it a few weeks of running before taking it for its test..hats of to Jordan bikes leeds who certainly went the extra miles getting me all quotes ect from ducati and passing the bike when many would have failed it and charged the earth..
I've had similar with rear brake switch, tester said you'll be pulling the front brake anyway so the light will come on anyway...
