M&P have Continental Sport Attacks on offer at £99 delivered Continental Sport Attack Tyre Pair Offers Discount is applied at checkout.
Its a good deal for bikes that have been built 2006 and younger, sport attack 3 is already out, be careful of putting older tech tyres on newer tech bikes , also Conti warranty support runs out very soon as there becoming obsolete, if you buy a pair and puncture one you may have to buy another pair as you may not find a match, be careful and do your research as to why deals come up so cheap, these tyres cost m&p mor than £99 a pair, there getting something as its better than nothing for them!!!
Would you say that its fair that todays technology of traction, abs, electronic suspension, may be acting too strong on the tyres that were designed by engineers that had no data/information and were not told to consider in their design brief of how to build tyres to withhold those forces put through it? Tell me a modern more common bike that chooses to put tyres that are more than 2 years older than the design build? If a rider truly says his riding style is such & such that he would never put the latest technology into test whilst riding then it may be deemed possible to put older tyres on....... however the thought of this rider is that he can ride fast enough to get wheelie control traction etc to kick in, what the complete point this rider has missed is not that he doesn't use the technology, the reason it is on road bikes is for safety, and the rider accidently takes a wet corner too fast the technology kicks in but he still comes off, WHY? Because the tyre was not capable of working with the safety features on the bike. Too many people seem to think that these features on motogp, wsb, F1, touring cars, etc is on road bikes & cars is to make you go FASTER, you couldn't be more WRONG from the truth, it is a way that companies TEST/DEVELOP technology to keep you and the people you are riding/driving by SAFE, TO HELP THE BIKE OR CAR TO HELP YOU OUT AS MUCH AS IT POSSIBLY CAN TO SAVE YOURS AND OTHERS AROUND YOU'S LIVES, but people will spend 10k on a bike and insure the safety technology in it with a £70 last of the production runs, obsolete, cannot cope with tyres, I am proud of the advice I give, my only intention is to marry the correct tyres that suits the riders riding style, their finances and also ensure it copes with the bike he/she has, I have an opinion & I am allowed that opinion in this forum, as are you, but please, a "WHY" sounds like your dissing me, if you wish to ask me a question then a simple but sentence is just polite, Take the advice or leave it, that is your prerogative, but when someone tries to give all the info so you can make a fully informed decision and realise that they may make a mistake that puts them at risk, am I right to give that info?
Ok - why wont a trye who's 'tech' is two years old not work properly with ABS etc? What design enhancements have been made to cope with this new technology?
