So the bike is now 4 yrs old and I fancy saving a bit of cash and doing a bit of home maintenance in the form of an oil and filter change on my M696. I've done this on a few previous bikes so know the procedure. As there is hardly any of the filter exposed can anyone tell me the best way of removing it. There are loads of wrenches on e bay what size do I need? Also I need 2 crush washers. One for the sump plug and one for the gauze side filter which I believe is a fibre washer. Where do you obtain yours? Any advice would be great. Cheers.
