Howdo! I know this is one of those questions that always pops up and I have done some searches......but nothing answered the question. What brake pads are the best for road riding? Good initial bite and stopping power. I have looked at the following manufacturers sites, anyone have any experience or suggestions? Bendix MF SBS HS EBC Double 'H' DP SDP614 Vesrah RJL (However couldn't find a UK distributer). Bike has a set of Ferodo sintergrips fitted and not overly impressed. Bike has Hel lines, clean calipers and EBC brake fluid. Cheers Pablo
I've used Bendix for years now and they still work, and work well. Good money to. The MF works well from cold and is dependable even for brisk track use.
For me, SBS without a shadow of doubt. They completely transformed the braking on my MTS1200, huge braking with a progressive initial bite. I really appreciated them when I spent 10 days the Dolomites.
Think I'll try the Bendix MF, £20.29 a side of flea bay. Next up will be the master cylinder, see if that makes a difference (Did on my track bike).
