thought I'd get my first pic of the M900 I've just bought from Kev R here on the forum. '94 M900 with what I believe to be tasteful/useful upgrades. starts on the button 1st time, engine is as smooth as a velvet codpiece. Thanks Kev for dropping it on your way via the job you were on. Pete
Nice. Later front end I see, and amazingly it's still got it's breather boxes and a full frame at the Ar*e end. Nasher.
yes, forks/brakes/wheels are one of the best mods. part of the rear frame has gone (previous-previous owner who nickel plated it). welds round headstock are in excellent condition (whether original or re-worked prior to plating, couldn't be sure). all-in-all a nice bit of fun. first job will be to "remove" the false neutrals on the upshift with a tweak to the shift rod and note to self "kick it on the upshifts".
@Nasher HIDs arrived earlier this week, btw, so thanks for that. They should drop straight in to my brother's Triumph.
Ah, OK, it looks like it should still be there from the image. Mine had been cut before I brought it, and I had a few issues bringing it up to my standard, particularly with respect to modifying the seat release to work the other way around. I'll find a link to my thread on the Monster forum to show you how I did it. Here it is. Read it all the way through, I did it twice as I wasn't happy first time around. http://www.ukmonster.co.uk/monster/showthread.php?t=50420 Nasher.
