Hi, i thought you may want to share our idea for a make shift paddock stand! which i will add was carried out in the middle of France last weekend after a rear blow out, i must say a lot of people out there say the French are not very British friendly but the farmers all around helped me find a shop with a new tyre and drove some 30+ Km to have it fitted (10 mins from closing time on a Saturday) the farmer that took me even asked me to help myself to all his workshop tools to carry out the job, my French is as good as useless but they were all very helpful, we finished our journey then had a great dry Sunday at the Folembray race circuit near Saint Quentin, a small track but well worth a trip run by Eurotrax in Colechester Essex, very well organized a great bunch of guys and girls.
Few years ago mate had a puncture. It was on a sunday too. OMG! French farmer bloke - Olivier drove home and came back with a can of puncture repair. He gave it to my mate and wouldnt accept payment of any sort. I too do not understand why some people moan about them. Ive never had anything other than fantastic and polite dealings with them. I visit often too. I am a Francophile. Love the heath robinson stand.
