Just returned from the nw200, for once a great day with sun , records broken and a top speed of 209.5 mph then the dreaded news Malachi lost his life just before black hill. I watched him at Tandragee and coverage from cooks town and without a doubt he was going to be a star. Someone said he was the new guy Martin but Malachi Replied he's the new Malachi Mitchel Thomas . His father was interviewed on BBC ni news web site if anyone can post it up. Tragic his father is going to scatter his ashes on the tt circuit. Rip Mal .

I was watching it from the start/finish line on Saturday. I thought it was a serious oil spill or something when race control kept delaying the next start by 15 minutes, I was shocked when they announced that there had been a fatality, didn't expect that. Very sad.
Absolutely tragic. I don’t know why but these days of twitter seem to make it all the more heartbreaking as you can see his last words/actions before signing off as it were, not knowing what’s round the corner. Thoughts very much with his family and friends.
