Hi All , Is anyone riding in this event ? I used to ride/camp/spectate at this event when it was previously run by VMCC and it was always enjoyable . Then with Mallory's issues it wasn't run for 1 year . Now Mallory run it themselves and I wondered what its now like . I shall be attending and going on track on Saturday , so just wanted an over view .
I went to this last year as a guest of a supplier I use. Never really heard of it before , so popped along and thought is was a great little day out. Ok, it's not the worlds biggest event and you obviously need a bit of interest in older bikes but if the weather is nice and your interest is there than off you go. I don't use that supplier any more so don't expect a freebie this year but i'll go along again , paying to get in or not.
Last time I went to this the day was a bit spoiled for me by having to queue for an hour just to cross the overhead bridge to get into the paddock area, once your in there though its pretty interesting to walk around ogling all the race kit on show.
