Hi all... So, after my other thread, in which it became apparent I had fitted 600 manifolds to my 750ss engine, and in effect restricting it. I bought a pair of 750ss manifolds. All good, but I notice they have little take off things. My old 750 didn't have these, nor my 600. so I am wondering what they are for? It is probably a dopey question, but one I thought worth an ask! I am planning to simply blank them off and fit as normal. Please see the pic for what I am referring to. Cheers, Ben
Looks like someone has added a permanent spigot for the balancer tubes....... I have two screws on each manifold one on the outer side and one the inner side, which I have stuck an M5 allen screw in each one......... Or....maybe some silly sod fitted a performance vacuum gauge!!!
There is a blanking screw on the other side. I'll just blank them off after a decent polish of course!
the manifolds will be off a monster,it will be the vacume take off for the fuel pump.Did you check out the difference in bore size?
hmmm.. either way, they'll be blanked off I am going to do them tonight! I'll make note of the size difference for reference. and I did note the '7' on these.
Is the correct answer, blanking them will be fine usually one has a little rubber cap that blanks it off while the other goes to the pump
