  1. Well it's something that's been widely rumoured but not definite until now.

Marc VDS is coming to Motogp in 2015 and will be welcoming back Scott Redding by handing him a nice shiny Honda RC213v and a side order of Ohlins and Brembo :upyeah:

At last the boys being given something half decent so I expect we'll start seeing him at the pointy end.

    There is a god!

On another note I thought I'd take the opportunity to openly say how bloody chuffed I was for Valentino to win on Sunday, he raced like a demon and I was absolutely buzzing when Marquez was forced in to a mistake.

I'll admit I never thought Rossi would win another race, not a fair race anyway, but this was an injury free dry track with everybody on a level playing field.... And I was wrong....thankfully.

So with that out of the way if somebody else could beat Marquez up next round I'd greatly appreciate it.

  2. Scott has got what he rightly deserves! He is highly rated by the teams and, more importantly in my view, the other riders. I hope see him bashing fairings with Marquez at some point next season. Go Scott!

  3. You could see how the track helps the Yams, with MM so late and hard on the brakes but the drive out of the Yam being such he couldn't real them in easily

Shows what winning mean to Vale too. I suspect he also thought his winning days were over lol

  4. Old dog learning new tricks. He has modified his riding style again to get the best out of the M1.

  5. Amen,and i think he's looking forward to 2016 and a new ecu.

  6. Great news about Scott can't wait to see him on the rcv, be interesting about how often he beats cal. I suspect more frequently than not.
Got quite chocked with vale winning and he was dropping mark, top race.

  7. top race indeed.

  8. Could be wrong, but is this definitely a factory bike that Redding's getting? Reading between the lines it sounds like just an open class bike with Ohlins and Brembo.

  9. My understanding it's a factory rcv same as cal is getting as close to factory as can be. Pneumatic valves and all. Guessing that's what Marc vds are paying for.

  10. Yup full (ish) factory but better than what Gresini ran as VDS are going to run Brembo and Ohlins so it's as near to a repsol Honda he'll get for now.

Marc VDS team don't piss around, I bet Dorna are loving that they're stepping up to the top tier and I suspect Honda are backing them big time as they run a tight ship.

I think its great, it give us another team not associated with either Spain or Italy so starts to spread things out a little.

I just can't quite get on with the burgundy part of the branding, still if it's got a chance of bashing fairings with the top 4 then I don't care what colour it is

  11. I think you'll find burgundy is a very distinguished colour, actually...

  12. Great to see him get a top ride, I suspect he'll kick Cal's arse after a couple of rounds. I see Eugene Laverty is stepping up too... No announcement on which team/bike but rumours suggest Aspar on a customer Honda

  13. Could also be Aprilia, but that's just a guess.

I think I read somewhere that Melandri doesn't want to step to MotoGp on an uncompetitive bike where he can't race for the win, possibly that leaves a spot for Laverty?

  14. Marco has already nearly ruined his career that way. Saying that I cant see the RSV getting much more development in WSBK. Aprilia can barely afford to keep their factories open at the moment
