Many folks who were on the old Ducatisti forum helped raise some awesome funds for the Rob Vine Motorsport Medical services fund in the Isle of Man last year by buying one of my Marco Simoncelli 58 stickers in memory of our fallen friend. As we come to the end of 2012, sales have dropped right off to almost nothing and I'd really like to sell another 100 stickers just to push us through the £8,000 raised for charity mark. 100% of the money taken on these goes to the charity, I pay for the materials and time, you cover the postage and the sticker donation. The best bit about this is that until the year end, anything I sell will be funds matched for the Rob Vine fund by my employer, so the charity gets twice the bang for your buck and helps some real road racers into the bargain with much needed medical supplies and back up on the Isle of Man. If you'd like one of these 58s or ten of them for stocking fillers for your friends, you can buy direct through the charity sticker page on my website at www.moonpie.co.uk or there is an active listing on ebay too - Marco Simoncelli "58" - 100% Charity donation (race charity) memorial sticker | eBay Thanks for your support so far, everyone who has bought one to honour Marco has already saved lives in this year's TT and Manx GP, well done one and all, your generosity has made a huge difference
Good to see this back. I've seen a few of your stickers on my travels and wondered if we would ever get the chance after the demise of Ducatisti. I'll toddle off to e-bay and place my order now. Thanks
Thanks ducv2! I've seen a few around on my travels - got really excited to see one outside my daughter's school the other day until I realised it was my mates car from around the block...still all good fun LOL. In any given year it costs £23,000 just to keep the ambulances, helicopters and other vehicles stocked with supplies - we've raised nearly half that in the last 12 months with a fair chunk coming from Ducatisti members and hopefully now some Ducati forum members. If you want even more money to go to the charity, then please buy direct from my website www.moonpie.co.uk - stops the ebay robbers getting their 40p cut on each one. Yes - even though it's all for charity, they've taken nearly £700 off the total so direct is always best.
Just got mine and when on the eBay site brought a sticker of him on his bike for car as well......sorted
Thanks guys - nice flurry of activity - still 80 or so to go, roll up folks - all in a great Biking cause Incidentally there are other charity stickers available on my website for the likes of Joey, Tomizawa, even Dan Wheldon if you like 4 wheels too...
Got the Dunlop sticker instead - major hero of mine, and trust all goes to same cause. cheers Simon, pete
Thanks Pete - yes every penny goes to the Rob Vine Fund as well - especially poignant for the Joey stickers I feel. Thanks for your support ;-)
