Looking at second matches I I wheel for my Ducati Multistrada 1260s 2018. Does the 1098 wheel fit I think size is the same multi front 3.5x17, rear 7x17
I used to run a pair of 1098R wheels on my 1200 Multistrada but always worried that the wheels were too light weight. Currently got a Panigale V4S 3/9 spoke rear and a Hyper 950SP (matching) 3/9 spoke front on my track 1200 Multistrada. When you say ‘swap wheel bearing’ are you talking recycling wheel bearings you already use or fitting new ? I’ve always replaced the bearings on every second hand wheel I’ve bought with new SKF, sourced from a known (local) supplier as there are a lot of fakes out there. Andy
Apologies for thread hijack .. Just discovered flat tyre on 1260S So Does the 1199 rear wheel fit the 1260S?
Pretty sure this has been discussed and IIRC, the answer was yes …….. but. Tyre calibration essential, the handling will feel different because of the different profile and tyre life will be short. Andy
Hi Meng, 1198 wheels will fit the DVT’s. I changed the bearings in Marchesini’s, no problem with the right tools.
