As above there was a thread somewhere but a search can't find it regarding charging for parking at the roadside in Matlock Bath, yesterday the proposals were rejected by the council after receiving two large petitions and listening to the views of the majority of residents who were also against the charges. People power has worked for once, thanks to those of you who signed the on-line petition. Steve
There was only going to be one outcome on this one, several businesses would have gone to the wall if charges would have been introduced. I wonder if they will still impose the 1 hour parking rule.
