The rear Pirelli Scorpion Sync on my Strada is nearing its end and I don't fancy the cost of a new one tbh! £175 for a Scorpion Trail (Sync now obselete); really?! I'm looking at a pair of the above tyres; anyone used them. I've used the sporty versions (Supemaxx Sports I think) on a TRX in a past and they were decent enough tyres. Failing that I'm drawn to Avon Storm 2s as I've had good feel and mileage out of Avons in the past too. Thoughts appreciated. All my riding is road/brisk so off road options aren't required...unless it goes pear shaped and I leave the black top accidentally ! Corners
Yes have them on my S4r and love them - better than the various Mich and Pirellis I've had, feel a bit odd to start with but great when used to them
i have Maxxis not my choice(were on it when i brought it) but they have been really good , i did a 1750 mile Scottish trip in all weathers and had no moments at all ,long lasting as well plenty of miles left in them
