MCN feature publication date

  1. Ladies and gents

Thanks to everyone who turned up, posed for pictures and took time out to chat the other weekend.

I told some people the feature would in the October 9 issue but due to various boring production reasons relating to page planning, advertising and classified adverts in MCN, that has gone back to October 23. I wouldn't want anyone to think I was attempting to get you to buy more copies of MCN when it was the wrong week.

Obviously you ALL buy EVERY copy of MCN anyway so this is a moot point.

    Regards

    Andy Downes

  2. Does that mean there will be another 'South West Dealer Special' coming out?
Moby will know what I mean.

  3. cheers..

  6. What, more than one?

    Not ' the North'.

where the other( better?) one? Down south?

  7. I see many road signs that say 'the North' what does it all mean? Half man, half machine............

  8. Honestly, who wants to go up there? The sun's down south, everyone knows that:upyeah:

  9. well I ventured up North, to Ride To The Wall on Saturday, and was very disappointed with the lack of Dukes,

23rd to see the MCN feature???? whats the hold up, waiting for the check to clear from Aylesbury Ducati, for free advertising or waiting for ya freebies to turn up:rolleyes:

  10. The hold up is probably to make sure that some words are misspelled, articles finish half way through and text is repeated in enlarged font at different place on the same page at least 3 times!!!
I'm enjoying the new adds pages where some of the bikes pictured for sale are upside down or on their side. Clever.

  11. I was there, arrived about 10:40 parked in about the 5th row from the railway line. I agree not many Ducati and I did keep asking at various meets if anyone else was going. Ended up going with a bunch of Harleys.
Quite a somber place. Dropped my beer, had a pork sandwich and learnt a great deal about bits of histoy I thought I already knew.

  12. sorry Mate didn't know you were going, I booked a place last year, and made a weekend of it staying at a mates near Matlock, we met at Drayton Manor then rode into the Arboretum around 12:30 and parked near the foodie bit, just as we turned up the Spitfire was flying over, shame I had my earplugs in, as it was very low..... yes Somber but moving place, and a very good cause.

  13. Hi Satzoomer,
I'm planning to stay at the Golf course hotel near Drayton Manor for next year, as it takes a whole lot of Motorway off for me and would make a great excuse for a night away. Saw one of the first waves from there waiting to enter the M40 as we went under.

  14. if your on their email list its best to get registered early on, I think we signed up feb/march time

  15. Evening all,

The long awaited article is in today's MCN, and very nice it is too.

Great job Andy :upyeah: and good luck avoiding those calls from Ducati UK for the return of their bike !
