Had the front end of my ST4S overhauled and set up for me on monday. Revalved damping etc. No need for different springs at all. What a difference, for the better. Highly recommended
Darren lists prices on his website IIRC. While you wait would probably depend on availability of parts, but I've had both ends done on a previous bike, ride in ride out same day.
No worries Mine was a while you wait service from 09:00 until just after noon. You usually have either a morning or afternoon appt' I asked for an overhaul and setup for me and was prepared to go with whatever they recommended. Removal, disassembly and change of oil to a lighter grade and less of it( bigger air gap). Shortening of the damping spacer and a revalving of the standard damper cartridge. I did not need different springs and dont believe i am good enough to warrant a more sophisticated damper cartridge. Also had a check over of the balance of the new front end to the previously rebuilt, by them, rear Ohlins. All good after road test , got me credit card out and rode off into the afternoon sun.
