Medicine

  1. In this country we destroy millions of £'s worth of drugs each year either chucking them in the bin, returning them to the pharmacy or just leaving them in a drawer.
There is a charity that collects them and sends them to Africa, they have a website intercare.org.uk so instead of wasting them put them to use have a look at their web page.

  2. I bet He11cat's house is filled to the brim with medicine. More pills than Boots that girl

  3. It is :)..... But all legit !!!
I was born 12 weeks early and was very ill.
So everything was a bit crap .
I rattle need a lot to keep me going and it sucks !!!!!

If you take unused drugs back to the pharmacy they have to dispose of them.
Just in case they have been tampered with.
I know I often get something changed and can't cope with it .. So virtual new pack has to go back to pharmacy.

  4. I've paid for them, they're mine:mad:

  5. Not only are they thrown away they/we have to pay to get them destroyed.

  6. I had a bad turn earlier this year and was back I'm hospital ..
11 different drugs a day I was going mental.
    It was pants!!!!!!!
Now got down to 5 and 2 if and when's.
But hoping they can shove some needles and anaesthetic in my spine very barbarically via the back of my head :(
Every 3 fecking months .... Can't say I'm looking forward to it but it could stop some pills . And help me.
Sadly if I stopped all my pills and yearly operation I seriously would have no quality of life at all let alone be able to ride a bike.

So a matter of take them or no life .. Sadly no choice really!

My GP is sensible if giving you a new drug he will only prescribe a small amount to be getting on with so waste is none or minimal.
Some prescribe a mountain ful and after say a week if someone has a reaction the whole 4 months goes in the bin.
    I have an astute GP.
