Members map by county ?

  1. Feel free to shoot if I've missed it but.............the forum could really mobilise an active membership if there was a map showing numbers of members in each county or city and then getting clever when hovering over the city or county a list of members could pop up ?

    Take aim....

  6. Sure they did Lucasz - and many of us missed the Members Map when it went (was never quite sure why Dan pulled the map - I assumed some technical issue).

    If it's not practical for Rob to add a members map there's always the option of someone taking on the task and set something up external to the forum. www.zeemaps.com is good, here's one I prepared earlier (well nearly 2 years back now.....899 markers:)
    Multistrada 1200 Owners Worlewide Map
    ....all you'd need on the forum is a 'sticky' thread to promote the map, with 'joining' instructions, somewhere prominent e.g. head of Rideouts & Events section?

  10. Yep I used it quite a bit to find other locals and was amazed how 'local' some were. Really useful and I missed ut when it disappeared. Would welcome something similar on here too.

  11. I'm sure there could be a "SPECIAL" sub list for those in other countries and an even more "SPECIAL" list for the warm countries...

  12. This is exactly why I thought it could be a good idea..... If there is some way I could assist Rob then I'd be glad to help (I'm more TT than I.T....!)

  13. I searched for a decent member map for my other forum. But I couldn't find anything that was of any quality. In the end we used ZeeMaps like mentioned above. See:

  14. I would volunteer but I already spend way too much time on the PC. I've added a post on the MTS/MTS1200 owners maps in the Multi section of the forum Rob, could that be stickied please? :)
