Have any of you heard of an MHR900 R? It crops up on searches but mostly relating to stainless cables from HEL. Does it exist? cheers Niall
Probably relates to the description mangling the homologation code. DM860SS for the earlier bikes and 900R for the later ones I believe. The earlier bikes were named "Ducati 900 Replica" later ones adopted the Mike Harding Replica name and then Mille and (eventually) MH900E. The MH900E is a very different, but lovely, thing. He's worshipped as a god in Italy.
Hello. Below is a link to an extract from Ian Falloon's book: Ducati Bevel Twins 1971 to 1986: Authenticity & Restoration Guide By Ian Falloon. The book provides an authoritative account of Ducati motorcycles from the period quoted in the title. A little care needs to be exercised with the extract, because not all the pages from the book are reproduced. Hope it helps. Good luck.
