Had a great time out with JC. Missed the rain:smile: Met at Stratford, over to Frome hill Hereford, then back to the Arrow Mill to see the Monster owners club. Good to chat to the guys and girls at Arrow Mill. Photos to follow.
It was good to meet you and thanks for showing me some pretty sweet roads. The first set of twisties after you turn right off from the road that takes you to stratford (A447?) was my favourite bit of road and I think I might be going back to play down there when the sun comes out. Just after I turned off I ran into a shower and the only thing I could say about that is I managed to get back without my numberplate falling off but the bracket has snapped on both sides. It is one of these: Brand New Ducati 749 999 Tail tidy number plate bracket | eBay Oh well, making one from steel sheet should keep me busy for half an hour on Monday I guess. Feel free to join myself and Ruffs up Bassettes Pole on Tuesday evenings. Im trying to get as many ducatis there in the Mc Donalds carpark and it would be good to have a few turn up from the forum (come on guys & girls). I wish! Alternator nut came off, stator, rotor, main crank bearing. Engine out, heads off, cases split. Atm the bike is in the shop engine in the frame waiting on the mech.
Ah, did you post that up recently? If so I had a look and winced. Hope the damage isnt too bad and by damage I mean $$$$
