Fuel height / float level.......fairly critical.............check what yours are set at and if relatively equal, try them like that before you adjust them...... It is debateable which side of the floats you should measure.....some say the diamond shape one, some say the rectangular one. The default is approx 14mm. 13mm richens and 15mm weakens. As far as I can see, measuring the rectangular float is the right one to use. Also check the main and air cut-off diaphragms......although they might look OK, they can get porous. If Dynojetted, make sure the needle is correct size, and the main jets, of course. Getting the balance right can be a s*d........use a bit of thin fuse wire as a feeler gauge between the butterfly and throat when the carbs are shut, so the initial opening of the butterflies are equal. Pull the tiny filter out of the fule inlet tee-piece between the two carbs and make sure it is clean. Mount the carbs a vice at the correct angle, fill a small squeezy bottle with petrol and add a hose so you can fill the carbs........wait to see if they leak........then change the hose for a footpump with a gauge......apply pressure and see at what pressure the float needles give way.......less than 10-12psi, they are likely to leak.........if they leak, change the float assemblies (they come with the float needles). Mine are in bits and i found.. Main jet o rings perished (standard size) DJ tapered needles and springs. 14mm float hight
You have an email with some DJ instructions and specifications.......Stage 1 & 2......sse what you think. PS.....I have a pair of old carbs for a 900 which had a DJ kit.....the main jets were 155 DJ type. AL.

Imola, Found 1st list below on Sudco Site but main jet o ring does not seem to be on and there are a few number I have not seen before. 2nd list is my list taken from Allens with a few prices I got & green is just the bits I wanted. I have a new ones from both Allens & Litetek that I have not fitted and the best I can measure for Main Jet o ring is below: (But probably better buying the right ones rather than trying to match the readily available ones which I know cost about 3p each).
