Hello. I haven't owned a bike with a Mille engine, but I did own and ride a 1984 900 MHR, and still have some books that also refer to the Mille models. You may have already looked into some of this but, in Ian Falloon's book on bevel twins-Authenticity & Rstoration Guide, he points out that the one piece Mille crankshaft is the only one fitted to a bevel engine, and that the con rods must be torqued to the correct value. However, I could not find a reference to what that value is. You might be able to get the figure from one of the following: https://www.bainesracing.com/ ; https://store.bevelheaven.com/ ; https://www.facebook.com/ItalsportDucati/ (Roy & Paul Armstrong) ; https://ducatitechnicalservs.wixsite.com/d-t-s (Paul Klatkiewicz) . Hope this helps, and good luck with your project. Tom.
