Million Pound Motors

  1. Channel 4 Sunday 27th December (tonight 7pm)
This documentary gets behind the scenes of classic car salesman Richard Biddulph's showroom as he works on a deal to secure a rare classic car collection worth 10 million Euros

Unusually, I bought my Panigale from this guy last year, truly eccentric, he is the owner of 'Vintage and Prestige' in Essex, a superb collection of cars worth millions.
His classic line to me was 'lets stop dry humping, and get a deal done'

Should be a very interesting watch.....

  2. I'll give that a watch. Problem is with any of these programs is that I doubt it's a true reflection of the trade.

If you have 5 mins get on YouTube and watch badger car salesman.

  8. I seen a bag of over priced roller's. Yeh if I needed a wedding car, I'd choose a mustang

  9. Surprised at the comments do vehmantly directed at me. In my defence I ride my Bmw over 15,000 miles per year and have been an out and out biker my entire life despite being a pretentious prick as you so eloquently put it. I have also ridden over half a million miles in my life which I suspect puts a lot of weekend warriors in the shade.

One should never judge a book by its cover and if you are going to slag someone off have the decency and guts to do it face to face. At least that is how I operate my life but other people seem to have different rules.

    Richard biddulph.

As one who has ridden my bike from Mazarin to Los Angeles in a day, well over 1000 miles I feel a reasonably well qualified pretentious prick to be posting in a bike forum.

EDIT having now watched above I reckon you should treat yourself to a Roller rather than a lowly BMW 'Richard' - metallic blue maybe? ;)

  12. Firstly , I'm hardly going to travel down to wherever you are currently to give my opinion on what I saw on TV an I? I'm more of an armchair critic. I don't like lots of TV personalities but I don't go around telling them.

However if we were ever to meet in real life you can be assured I would give you/people on that program as wide berth as possible. Not because of fear for my life from such an obvious "hard core biker " but more from the fact I can't be doing with people who are obsessed by themselves being better than the rest of society.

Secondly , you are quite welcome to post on any forum you like. We never commented you wasn't.

Thirdly, if you get so hyped up about a few comments on a forum from strangers I suggest 'reality' TV isn't for you. You and the rest of the people on that program came across badly. It's nothing to do with having money as I've watched so many of these types of programs where owners of much more exotica come across as lovely people. It's all opinions and unfortunately when you put yourself out there on the media you are gonna get some negative ones.

Ps I wouldn't head across to pistonheads as they really didn't like you on there either

  13. Thanks for putting up with me spouting off. It's amusing how utterly opposite the range of comment we are generating are.

Be a boring world though if we all like the same things.

Enjoy riding your red machine. I was proud to have briefly had one in the showroom as it was more a work of art then a bike.
