Just bought some genuine ducati mirror blanks, was wondering if anyone had a link on how to fit or are they that simple to fit even for a donkey like me? what happens to the wiring for the mirror indicators, do you hide it behind the fairing or something?
Easy fit,put cloth on fairing,unbolt mirrors,unplug indicator wiring,have a very small flat screwdriver at hand to press the tab to undo the electrical connection,push the loom back into the recess where it comes from using the small screw driver.don't push it to far as you will have to get it back out when putting mirrors back on,fit mirror blanks taking care to line up the rubber gasket(assuming the dp ones don't come with a rubber gasket),the hard part is putting the mirrors back on.
