Will a JT sprocket fit onto a Renthal carrier? Also same question the other way around, will a Renthal sprocket fit to a JT carrier?
Renthall and AFAM are interchangeable sadly not sure where JT fit in the scheme of things, no pun intended. Andy
I have a JT carrier on my 1098 and a Renthal on the 916. I have a 520 Renthal sprocket somewhere in the garage. I haven't got time to try swapping them but if I find the 520 sprocket I will offer it up to the JT carrier to at least see if the holes line up
Just copied this of another forum, do a Google search, they seem to be interchangeable. As I said this is not my experience, just copied. Steve Pretty sure they are the same. There is a Renthal sprocket on my JT carrier right now if that helps at all. I took a chance and bought the JT sprockets anyways a couple months ago. It fits with absolutely no problem! I've put about 1500 miles since then and I'm doing good.
Only know for certain because a mate at the weekend was looking if he could use his sprockets from his hybrid on his 1098, and when we looked at one trackside (well, an 848 actually but we know they are interchangeable) it confirmed it. Not sure if hub size makes difference too...but rental have lots of holes so you never know until you offer it up really
I have a AFAM carrier. At the moment I´m running a superlight sprocket at the rear. Actually looks realy similar to the one one the picture.
