Mode Selection

What does the manual say? Have you tried changing the modes on the move? You can on the Supersport.

 

You can change between modes on the fly but you must be on a closed throttle for the change to activate.

 

Press the indicator cancel button to initiate a mode change. Press it again until the required mode is selected. Press and hold to change the mode. Can be done whilst on the move, as others have said.

 

I've found it accidentally activating the mode change if I hold onto the cancel indicator a second too long.

 

As others have said, read the manual!! If you have then you would likely not need to ask such questions. Not having a go mate, but it amazes me how many people don't or can't be bothered to look through it. If you don't for some reason have a copy, you can download one from Ducati's website. There is a comprehensive explanation of the instrumentation, the various modes, selection of modes and settings in there.

 

Ive not read my 1299 manual.

 

I still havent sussed how to turn main beam on. Yep I can flash it, but I just had to google it.

 

I seem to accidentally turn it on all the time. Not sure if it's just me but it's pretty annoying

 

as said hold the cancel button on the option you want, then close off throttle ( it'll ask you )
