Okay I picked up my 696 today and rode it the 60 or so miles from oyb and loved every minute of it. I'm just after knowing what mods to do and possibly advice on a slip on exhaust, I had a remus on the buell which was lovely sounding and want to get the loudest one possible
Fitted Termi Carbon slipons onto the wifes 796, baffles removed before they went on the bike, sounds awesome. Came with new ECU, filter and filter box lid so fuelling is sorted. Sounds better than my 1200 Multi which has a full Termi system fitted ! Stu
The one on the right is a p range. Thats not period the plastic git. Wouldnt have been allowed in my day. Grrr
Piazzo adjustable short levers are a must. Much easier to use than the OEMs and look great too. Fender extender from Pyramid Plastics to save waterlogging your rectifier for £16.
