I don't suppose anyone on here has a CT70 just gathering dust in their garage that they want to get rid of ?
Just in the process of doing mine. Fitted a Daytona 150 4 valve motor and 12 volt electrics. Need Oil Cooler and exhaust and we are ready to go
My Ducati MTS-PP has a little angry brother.... grew up with Z50's and they are good solid fun and wish I had the CZ100(1964) my parents owned in the 60's...
I keep fancying a monkeybike but it seems they expensive for a decent brand. All the £600 ones I guess will just fall apart ?

Well ~ had the Ducati Corse custom Z50 up to 110km (GPS) and would go a bit more after swapping front and rear sprockets (acceleration absolute mental) and with the dry clutch sounds awesome like a Duc running on one cylinder.... Don't waste your $$$'s on the cheap MIC monkey replica bikes, they are mostly total shite.... If you can get your hands on Jincheng Z50 (old China Z50 Monkey bike replica with 6 or 12 volt engine), they are very reliable and the only ones I would personally recommend. You are aware that the UK and the rest of Europe has a huge cult going on about Z50 Monkey / CT70 Dax bike, have a look >>> MonkeyRun >> The UK's Largest Online Honda Monkey Bike Community Here is another of my custom Z50 bikes (sidecar) great shopping trolley and turns quite a few heads riding down the road in Shanghai. The base for the build was a Jincheng 50cc monkey bike replica in 2002 and still own and ride the bike today.
What are you mental? in my teens wanted one, when I could afford one in late 20,s didn't want an old bike, now I lust after one again and again can't justify it.
when we had our sam I found it hard to justify and sold it ,the monies built our lovely sun room which we all enjoy.my mrs never asked me to sell and in fact has backed every decision re buying bikes. the rc30 paid for this
