NOW SOLD -- Unfortunately for sale is my 2009 Monster 1100, apparently putting a deposit on a DVT means Maria can't stay I bought this bike stock last year and have changed a few things since then: · Ducati art body kit, course edition – looks absolutely stunning and turns heads everywhere - £350 · Carbon tank pieces (conquest carbon)– replaces the cheap looking stock pieces, really a necessity! Finished with original ‘1100’ sticker - £160 · Oberon bar end mirrors – Aesthetically a great improvement over the hideous originals, suit it really well, also have decent visibility! - £70 · Rizoma clutch and brake reservoirs – replaces the crusty cheap looking originals and matches the bar end mirrors perfectly - £120 · ASV C5 unbreakable levers black/red, fully adjustable length and look so much better! Regular clutch, short brake - £185 · Evotech crash projection sliders and tail tidy - £205 · Custom low mount double exit exhaust – I had this custom fabricated using a ixil shotgun end can and then sprayed matt black using high temp paint, it looks and sounds awesome, really cleans up the lines at the back compared to the stock bazookas and makes it sound how a ducati should! Compete with oxygen sensor block offs and butterfly servo buddy to make the ecu happy and the bike run as it should! - £500 · And finally ducati performance clutch pressure plate and NCR titanium open clutch cover - £250 That's a total of £1,840 of extra parts, and ill be handing over all of the original parts and bolts I still have in boxes. Servicing: The servicing schedule is quite easy on these, unfortunately I had the most expensive service fall at the beginning of my ownership (16000mile) – the valve timing and belt change as well as full service – just under £900, completed by moto rapido ducati, and I was told there was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary and was one of the best they’d seen. The next service is due in just under a year and is just your standard one. The bike is currently at 19,500 miles and is running perfectly, I’ve had no issues whatsoever, starts first time every time. As you can gather this bike has been loved dearly and will be missed, I’m asking £5500 through the forum - a few hundred less than advertised elsewhere.
