Hi, Looking to replace the Lead acid with lithium. I’ve had Noco batteries and rate them. However the Noco battery I’m looking at has different dimensions to standard. Standard battery is 150 wide 70 deep and 130 high (mm) The Noco is 150 wide 87 deep and 96 high. Will a battery that’s 17mm deeper fit? It won’t fit in the rubber anti vibration box but I can cut that, it’s whether it will fit in the battery holder.
My 1200 battery is getting a bit tired so might be looking at the same option. What is the standard battery?
I have an Antigravity ATZ10-12, 360 CCA Lithium battery that came off my MV four years ago after about 2 years use. Dimensions are 150x86x95 (the terminals are a touch taller at about 98mm but are removeable). Along with an Optimate Lithium specific charger/tender. If you're interested let me know and I'll work out a price. Possibility I'll be near Yeovil this weekend. Battery would be difficult/contentious to post. EDIT: Just re read your post, the dimensions match the Noco you mention, not the original... If it will still fit then let me know if you're interested.
I looked at the Noco battery but didn’t think it would fit, space is quite tigh, went with a Shido instead
I have a spare old SLA knocking around which is about the same size as the Noco I’m looking at, so will see if that fits - if so, the Noco will be OK
