Hi guys just joined the forum. Does anyone know if the comfort seat part number 96880392AB fits the 2017 1200R. The comfort seat code for the 1200R is 96880331A but I can't get my hands on one anywhere. Will the seat ending 392AB fit the 1200R has anyone tried?? Any comments or suggestions will be very welcome. Cheers guys.
Thanks for your replies guys. I'm going to take my seat off my 1200R to Ducati Manchester next week sometime & try the seat on the S model which Martin has in stock. If my seat fits then problem solved. I can't see Ducati changing the sub frame from the R model to the S model. So that's my plan fingers crossed it goes well.

Comfort is a strong word to describe it…. I have one on my 12R, it’s just as firm as the stock seat but about an inch higher, slightly kinder on my knackered knees but I wouldn’t call it more comfortable than the stock seat tbh.
I will be happy with the higher riding position hopefully this will be more comfortable has I need has much room as possible being a old fart Cheers
