Hi, can anyone help? How do you fit the Ducati performance indicators to the front of the Monster 1200R. They don’t seem to fit through the fixing holes in the headlamp surround, is it a case of enlarging the holes or am I missing something. Thanks Peter.
I take it you know there are two versions of the performance indicators? For your bike it's the 96680231A front and 96680201A rear.
@Peter Mackrell I have them on my standard 1200 monster , I`m sure the parts are the same. They were already on the bike when I bought so I cant help with what to do but I can take a few pictures and send them to you if that helps.
Thanks that may be helpful, the ones I’m trying to fit are these as you can see they are miles too big for the headlamp surround.
Hi, I know there are two types but I just thought they were older style and newer style. The ones I have were supplied by my Ducati dealer.
I am not a Ducati dealer, so take my knowledge with a grain of salt. But I believe you need the 96680231A: New Monsters have the front indicators attached to the forks.. Your indicators will fit those, but they are wrong for your bike.
Yea I can see the ones with the thread obviously must fit with blanking plates with holes in. My dealer has told me there are two types but do you know I like the new ones shape so I think I will adapt the surround to fit.
