I am the owner of a 2007 DUCATI Monster 695. I crashed last week, and it seems like something damaged the immobilizer. Since I bought the bike used, and never had, neither the RED key, nor the CODECARD, I am stuck with not being able to turn on the bike. The Rio de Janeiro Ducati dealership has closed down a couple of months ago, which makes everything worse, since I have no one to turn to around here!.. It is really weird, since it actually turned on after it crashed and was fixed, but immobilized on the following day. I have asked a friend at the local Desmo club here in Rio de Janeiro about ways to fix this issue, that was already pointed out when we connected a scanner to the bike. He said that there was the possibility to fix it, running the DucatiDiag software available on this site: http://jpdiag.akress.com. He also pointed out this link: http://jpdiag.xooit.eu/t2823-Ducatidiag-full-version-unlimited-ecu.htm. Unfortunately, I was not able to get in touch with the person who was selling the patch for the fix. Do you have any ideas? Is there anything I can do? Thanks guys!
JPDiag is just diagnostic software. You need to connect diagnostic to your bike and read any fault codes first.
