Hi, I would like to optimize my monster 695 passanger's seat confort with the M696's seat, wich seems to be wider than mine. Can someone that could have both bikes close each other try if it would fit ? Regards
Will have a look when I get home - I have a 696 and my husband has a 695. I don't remember seeing many Monsters in Barcelona when I went over for my sister's wedding a couple of years ago (her husband is Catalan).

If need to make a few reworks on the bike, I may also do it, so as mani info you can give, it will make me decide to do it. My wife always complains the Monsters seat on large rides PD: I can assure you that in Barcelona there are a lot of bike riders and also there are mani Monsters. Give your siter's husband "molts records des de Barcelona" ! Regards
Hi Carles, Bad news - there's no way the 696 seat will work on the 695 - the different sub-frame (695 is narrower), the position of the little black plastic panels on the 695 and the locations of the lugs/clips by the fuel tank at the front mean that the 696 seat won't attach. You might be better off looking at an aftermarket seat (e.g. Corbin). (I agree the 696 seat is more comfortable than the 695). I certainly remember lots of bikes and scooters in Barcelona - just not many Ducatis. There were some good roads up in the hills around Villadrau which looked like they'd be great fun on a bike. (Sadly we were in a hire car).
Thanks to check it anyway.... Will try to find another solution. Catalunya is full of lovely roads to make on a bike. Close to Barcelona is plenty of hills like Viladrau to ride... for sure better on a bike than in a car. Also if you have the chance to come with your bikes here you can also join some organized "rallies" like: www.rider1000.com (we were 1.200 bikes last May !) were you can choose the 1000 km, 500 km or 300 km tour to make in only one day riding in rare roads around Catalunya and starting in Manresa. www.rodibook.com with around 600km and 500 riders to perform on the north of Catalunya and starting in Vielha that will be done in September. Don't hesitate to come someday with your bikes if have the chance to do it. Regards
