Wanting a left side foot bracket assembly /gear-lever and foot rest … basically as you can see in the photo. Cheers for looking
i'm sure you will find one, but they do straighten very well (even cold) if you are a dab hand at it, must have done half a dozen.
Cheers Chris. Does this show it? (I’m Posting on behalf of a pal who’s useless with tech) but yes I hope he’s tried eBay (if he can!)
@Chris it's the hanger that's snapped Chris, not the linkage. I'm wondering, if a part is hard to source, could it not be welded ?
doh, talk about a senior moment. James - can you take over and do exactly the same but with the "bracket" please? i can see what happened - I "homed in" on the bent lever and didn't occur to me to read the text, so, my "straightening" note above still applies.
got mine welded once but that was only a fracture, and no, not suitable for building up/welding as it's a casting - mine began to re-fracture just before i sold it.
Yes he’s been to get it welded and got told it’s a no go. There are other areas of stress fractures on it too. Thanks for the info on the additional parts. I think the originals could be salvaged maybe.
loads s/hand on EBay, (see below) but this part did vary slightly over the model range - I have 824-1-023-1AB which was the more "common" one. P@H in Crawley have a new/old stock item (£99) but different part number (M750) but could be ok. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/295860398221
just remembered - i have one but it's on a bike!! - does he want a whole bike? - it's a slightly minging incomplete M600.
Cheers but he only needs the left side. I sent him the eBay links so hopefully he has one sorted. Will let you know if not.
