They did say yesterday that the numbers were down at the turn gate, but mainly the British not travelling over, perhaps the purse strings are bitting already.
I have yet to catch up with the racing but what I did catch during free practice was the commentators saying the cost of a ticket was 3 times that for Barcelona so around €250 (?) If that is the case, add that to the cost of flights, hotel and transport, it’s no wonder people stayed away. Andy
