Hi guys, So, I'm just about to start my monster/cafe racer project. Gonna be a retro classic style but with a few modern twists. Didn't fancy a Classic or 1000GT but thats the general idea.. Can anyone give me some info on the frames, particularly the swingarm mounts. I want a single sided swingarm but not the tubular from the S2 but a solid one from say 916/996. Yes I could buy an S4R/S but they're expensive and especially as I'm gonna chop it about it would be a shame to do it. So will the swing arm from a 916/996/748/hypermotard/S4RS fit any Monster frame and if not, any idea which frames will work.. I wanted to use Motard wheels but again need to check suitability. Bugger of an opening question but it's the first step in the project and If I can get an M900 It'll leave more money for new shinny bits!!! Thanks.
