  3. Well yes but i think last month the 959 was 2 seconds a lap quicker than the 899.

  4. 55.71

  5. There are 400's going round faster than most of that pace. Sure it was Michael and not Michelle Rutter?

  6. Is the Multi time in there? ;)

  7. Nope, 848 Streetfighter @ 59.54 is the slowest Ducati (tested :smileys: )

  8. Wow slow being the right word ;)

  9. Makes sense to me - the Monster has 300cc over the Panigale and I'm sure it handles.

  10. Heavier and less ground clearance with less sorting chassis. You never see a monster racing any category for a reason. And it beats the gsxr 1000 too

Maybe I need to go ride one, could be ideal replacement for multi

  11. Who cares.....

  12. I really like these Rutter tests, the article is always interesting. I don't know what a good time around Mallory is but I do remember them being slow around Almeria on the 1299 and H2R. I guess they don't want to risk the bikes too much but hopefully it's consistent. Rutter races the BMW so it's kind of predictable that that one is up at the top, but cool that he rides the Pani hard enough to be up there with it.

  13. I like them also, the only thing is that they don't always account for weather. The stock 675 for example was quicker than the 675r but the r definitely is a quicker bike and they said it was just a really cold day. The table doesn't show that.

    Good articles though

  14. The table shows any adverse track / weather conditions on the right. The Monster R was run on a cold track.

  15. People with 899's :smileys: just found it mildly interesting and thought some would find it surprising :Sorry:

  16. Newer bike and a lot more power but hay the 899 hasn't got a wank exhaust on it [emoji106]

  17. It is interesting too because it's one rider so a good comparison. Also shows those that think they need a supersport bike for trackdays that they don't :)

  18. No one would think Rutter slow if they went to watch him ride the bikes round there. Bear in mind a lap is little more than a mile long and he doesn't have a clear track.

All the bikes are run on the tyres they are delivered to owners with. No special tyres and no tyre warmers.

  19. Any idea what sort of times day top of fast group is around Mallory? Ive not been there on a bike. Been hundred mile an hour into Gerrards in a stock BMW boat though haha it went wrong on one occasion mind !

  20. Club racers 52s I think. I remember a lad on a 450 single when I raced my monster doing 57's, think fastest I did there with 50hp was a 1'04 ish
