Hi folks, I've just bought a 2001 monster s4 , it has the drop type clip ons and i want to fit higher bars for a less aggressive ride position, can anyone advise the best solution, would it be as easy as swapping them for st2 or st4 type, will they fit?? or do i need to change the top yolk?? any advise appreciated
I'm not 100% but I think that you can fit a later top yoke on to your model and have fatbars if you so wish. Your stock yoke should still allow you to fit any of the older 22mm bars unless the risers have been removed
can you get a picture up? i'm sure the bar swap will be easy with std kit of course, but loom and all clutch/brake/electric control runs might be a pain if too short.
I used a set of risers on my S4 Monster It worked well with the standard bars. Still have them knocking around if of any help/ interest?
