Monster tail chop - rain up your back??

  1. Hi all, General question, I've a Monster, and I'm thinking it needs a tidy up at the ear to get rid of the duck bill.
    Will it then allow the rain to paint a stripe up my back like it does on my pushbike??

  2. Yes it will. I've tail chopped mine and I certainly get spray on my back, but then I wear waterproofs when it's raining so it doesn't bother me, plus it looks better so I don't care.

  4. Used to get a 10ft rooster tail off the back of my SpeedTriple in the wet, and a jetwashed back.

    After about 45 mins it would find a way past the collar seal on my jacket and leech up the back of the crash helmet lining. Not nice.

  10. Depends how fast you are going. Slow to medium spray on your back. Fast some spray on your back, rest goes over the helmet and in to your visor.

    Only situation when going fast makes your worse off. :)
