I want to take the bikini fairing off my Evo. Anyone run a bike without one and what’s it like? And do I need a clock cover or such to tidy up the wires? Any advice gratefully received, especially what to buy to make it look tidy.
If I remember correctly there is a cover that goes over the back of the clocks that came with the bike when new that you use when you remove the fairing to make everything look tidy.
I believe that it is part number 24713231A and costs less than £10 new from a Ducati dealer. You usually find them on eBay second hand for more than the new ones. Riding without the fairing is ok. There is more wind blast. It really depends what sort of riding you do as to how much of a difference it makes to you.
