Mosfet Question

  1. Hi folks
    848 evo
just fitted a new Mosfet regulator and hard wired it (yellow wires) removing the white 3 pin connecter and replacing with crimp connectors then heat shrink tubing and finished with silicone tape. On tick over from cold i'm getting 14.7v at the battery terminals tested with a multi meter, the dash is actually showing 14.7 to 14.9, is 14.7 too high? My old standard regulator would normally be around 14.4-14.5 at tick over, Ive not been able to go for a ride yet so don't know if voltage will change when up to temperature. Im off to the Peak district in a few weeks so want to make sure everything is ok..
    Thanks

  2. 14.7v is the normal output reported by those who do the Mosfet conversion.
