Thunderstorm Thursday night has left the track damp which is a great leveller although Jerez is too small for the GP bikes to give it the full beans anyway. Fabio had a nasty off where the bike flipped and he took the belly pan full in the testicles TV director gave the poor bloke no privacy whatsoever so it was plain for the world to see he was in agony and Silvan and Hodgy didn’t what to say Andy
End of MGP FP1, Mir, Rins, Marquez …… Alex not Mark who was 11th. FQ 5th after his ball busting ride Andy
Nightmare start to mcflea’s last season in m3 missing the first five rounds! Hodgy talking about a switch to super sport
Given the injuries he is recovering from, I'll not be surprised if this is the end if his Moto3 career. Andy
Missed Moto3 and MotoGP FP2 but Moto2 FP2 finished; Jake, A Fernandez, Ogura, Sam. Jake improved on his FP1 time and finished 0.2s faster than AF and 0.4 faster than SL. Andy
hes 28 and too old to ride in m3 next year or do you mean he’s finished this season? Would definitely suggest he needs multiple wins btwn now and the summer break to even be considered for a m2 ride next year. even then I’d be hard pushed to say he deserves one. Another flakey Brit I’m afraid.
Apparently A Espargaro had a go at M Marquez yesterday ,asking why an 8 time world champion has to get a tow all the time to make a fast time. Of late I have had a new found respect for Aleix to be honest. Yes he does have a whinge, but he is a very focused and passionate rider and is not afraid to say what’s on his mind.
Yep ..and I know early days for what looks like a long MGP season ahead, but FQ is looking strong again. The real deal? I think so…
Agree on both counts. MM is frequently looking a bit of tw@t in qualifying, either looking for a tow or binning the bike. In fact, even during the races. A bit dangerous. He gives the saying cutting through the pack a new meaning. Nearly wiped out three other riders race or two back. That was just overtakes that we saw, as the camera showing action up front… Aleix, looking good and knocking out some good rides. I hope he is in the running at the end of the season. MM, it just shows that injury and mindset play a huge part, Rossi for example, after the Marco incident…after his big injuries… Only showed the odd flash in the pan after those. Age though. None of us bounce as well as we used to do. Little knocks become niggles that do not go away. This is what MM is learning..
Bagnaia on pole and Miller 4th. Who’d have thought. Let’s hope they don’t turn it into another disaster.
