Same as two weeks ago. More interested/hopeful to see Jake kick on from his win (touch wood) and Oggy to keep up with his recent progress in M3.
I’ve tipped Michelin to give MM93 a duff tyre for the main race. They have a stock of them that they held back for Aleix Espargaro to use, but he’s not there any more so they are free for other riders to use!
MM has to be favourite by a long shot, for form this year and previously always runs well here. Pecco needs to find something soon but cant see it happening this weekend. Sure its been said already but really would be nice to see something shake up the order a bit this weekend and give us a title race rather than see who's best of the rest.
Someone needs to pop a laxative in MM’s tea just before lights out. He’s some boy. His arm injury was quite horrific. To come back from that and then proceed to trounce everyone takes unbelievable determination. I know he’s got the all bells and whistles Doocardi, but he’s making Pecco look ordinary at the moment.
I think we could see a strong showing from the Aprilias, Bez and Agura but not winning, maybe Bez near the podium, probably Alex in the top 4 but I’m still keen to see if he can carry the momentum. I’d say if Alex podiums again this weekend, he will be there all year. btw, Alex beating Pecco really is something none of us had in the script, I think we all suspected Marc would win lots and Pecco behind him but the way Marc has had Alex between them has massively helped him build the points lead. There was a strong rumour that Pecco is going back to last years bike, this might mean he can get on terms with Alex this weekend but I can’t see anyone beating Marc around COTA
I’d wager there will be at least half a second between Marquez and next best by the end of qualifying.
That would just make him finish the race in double quick time maybe it needs to be in the other riders tea? This next race could very boring.
Many moons ago I was playing golf in a four ball. One of the lads had a habit of popping the ball in his mouth between holes. I know, I know… very odd. Anyway, the club had been treating the greens with a certain chemical/treatment/fertiliser type stuff. That should you ingest, made you shit yourself… very quickly. He didn’t even have time to run for the bushes. He literally shat himself between the 9th and 10th…. You can imagine rest- 3 blokes in hysterics over the unfortunate Mal…
It’s all about qualifying for me this weekend. As @Red899 says, a bit of a nothing day as far as indication of likely results.
