  2. Great race (if your not a VR fan obviously) ill take stoner on the podium at the start of the season, I'll bet the chatter gave him shit most of the way but he just gunned through it, great race by Lorenzo though, he's a good lad too.

But my man of the moment goes to Cal, what a result! Good lad.

So, Rossi............... Do you really want him gone now then?

  3. I'd rather Rossi retire than run around with the also-rans. Very sad to see but everyone has they day in their sun and sadly looks like his has gone. Maybe one more season on the Panigale in WSBK next year to win it and wrap up his career?

It's fairly obvious though that the Ducati is nowhere near the Yamaha and Honda factory bikes.

  4. Well at least we can talk about how well Cal did, as the Ducati story is far from a fairytale.

You could see that Hayden had been to work tonight....it must have been a hard night on it, he looked totally fecked at the end.

I so wanted Vale to be up in the top 6, but it looks as though it has broken him after all....I hope not tho.

It was good to see Edwards was the best mobile road block on the night....Dam I wish he was on a prototype still.

  5. I'm not so sure, hayden did ok and let's face it he's never been great on the ducati, it's the fastest through the traps by some way as well.

I reckon it's rider trouble, Rossi simply can't ride it, he's not the first and looks like he won't be the last.

It needs muscling round and that'll need somebody new I'm afraid.

  6. Did i just say He needs to go ? lol
Nicky rode well but thats about the lot from ducati.
I see Colin nearly beat Spies on the last lap.
Cal gets my rider of the race, Stick Him on Spies Bike.
And Get Colin on VR's Bike

  8. Hayden was nowhere near quick enough to be at the front. Nor was the bike.

He was scrabbling around with another older Ducati and the leased Honda. Not even near the Tech 3 Yamahas.

I may be wrong but their appears to be something inherently wrong with the design of the bike for it to be consistently fast in Motogp and there is only the 90 degree V left to change as far as i can see.

  9. I think it's as much in rossi's head now. He doesn't beleive in what he's riding.
Assuming it doesn't get any better, has has few options. No Honda or Yamaha rides on offer so WSBK or retire.

Early days yet though. I think this championship will have more twists and turns than previous years. The front boyz are very close to each other and pushng that hard may mean more mistakes are apparant. Now Casey has to ride with some finese to make the tyres last which is Lorenzo strength. Before they had to be ridden with super aggression which was stoners strength.

All to play for, bring it on. Moto 2 was the nutz imo

  10. I think the one i would have liked to see on the Ducati was Simoncelli but sadly that isn't going to happen.

  11. Very frustrating as a Rossi fan. His result was crap, obviously, but when he started stringing laps together he was matching the leaders' times. That seems to suggest to me it's a Rossi problem rather than a Ducati problem. I'll wait til they get back to europe before I start banging my head against the tv, though.

Stoner's season could be interesting, too. He's been doing a lot of whingeing this weekend. Whatever, I'll be keeping an eye on Imola's predictions this season before I start laying bets...

  12. The only thing which may change with VR this year is His team, JB and Co will get the bullet and be replaced with Ducati Hand picked Team!

  13. I'm not sure if VR would have the bottle to go along with that....mind it could be the perfect excuse....if JB goes I go???

  14. What Stoner Whinge!!!! "Well stone the crows" I hear He's got a sore hand ? I wonder what caused that

  15. Holding the baby's bottle?

  16. Ducati will word it so it looks like the Team have left because of poor results! VR has no choice He's got a contract till the end of year.
I really do think that JB is totally lost on the Duke, They keep going backwards with settings and no progress.

  17. He can't do that. He's allergic to the contents!

  18. Hayden did well and Rossi started to put in some fast laps but it was too late.

    Moto2 is still much better

  19. Moto3 weren't bad either.

  20. Just taken this off Rossi facebook page posted 5 mins ago

    Translation..

We cannot blame That 'cause the Ducati doesn't go. It is true, Nicky went better, but was still 20 seconds from Lorenzo. It is not a COMPETITIVE BIKE. Surely he is not well. You see, they lack the desire to fight, but it is the Ducati wrong!
