Just watched Ep 1 and need a lie down. It's intense. Almost let myself be sucked into Ep 2, but will give it a rest until later.
I did wonder if I had stumbled on some weird "men trying to get dressed" documentary.....I think it was a distraction technique to then smash you in the face with some hard-charging race stuff.....
Been looking forward to this for ages , then find it’s dubbed FFS . Totally ruined it for me , unless there is a way of changing it to just watching subtitles on the settings but can’t see anything obvious . Just cannot handle anything dubbed I’m afraid .
It’s awful…why would they do that? Will give it a miss until there’s an option without the bbc radio 4 dubbing.
Tried to watch the first episode after waiting for what seemed like forever for it to land, couldn't handle the terrible dubbing so turned off. Apparently Amazon have received lots of complaints as in the UK it's only available dubbed, other countries have subtitles, they're going to address but no dates for when this will happen. I'll wait for the updated version then jump in.
That’s good news, it’s AWFUL with the dubbing, I’ve watched one episode and really struggled. So far also I don’t think it’s really very fly on the wall either, it doesn’t seem to really expose anything at all
I think I watched about 2 episodes last night, really enjoying it. Lots of stuff that you will never see on TV, seeing Vinales in hospital with his newborn, Jack's scar collection and how frustrated and also apologetic he is. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
Well finished all 8 (helps that the wife was on holiday), loved it, some really insightful footage. Pity it was only 8 episodes, I'm sure they could have done an episode per race to be honest.
it's much better with subtitles, have watched most of it now and enjoying it, interesting to see that Mir and Marquez relationship is nothing like it is in the press.
I've enjoyed the first x2 episodes really get to see how smashed up there bodies are and the stresses they go through.
Very enjoyable, but could do with a bit more technical explanations for the less well informed new viewers?
The highs and lows of racing, the amazing competitive spirit and a bunch of 100% self-belief guys who somehow manage to be friends, even after serious attrition. You have to believe Ducati will have a world champion rider sometime soon
Have just finished, and hope they do one a series every year really enjoyed it nice to see so much behind the scenes footage, the ups, downs ,flustration and adulation of a racing team.
