If any of you are thinking of buying a workshop manual from motorcycleservicemanuals.com I would advise you to beware. I paid 40$ (£34.27) for a download of a service manual for the Supersport 939/950. This is a PDF that appears to be gleaned from the expensively unobtainable factory sheets. I was sent a link that would enable me to download the manual which would expire in 48 hours. My 48 hours is now up and I have entirely failed to get a download of the manual. Every attempt (dozens) either timed out or failed. The nearest I got it was 219MB of the 221MB required. I found that If I used Chrome it would automatically resume if the download timed out but annoyingly it would have to start from scratch and couldn't pick up where it left off. If it got an error it would pause and I had to manually restart it, again from the beginning. I would be interested to know if this has happened to anyone else. I have had no replies from the seller and as far as I'm concerned I've been stung. I have e-mailed them again and will give the seller 24 hrs to reply with a satisfactory solution, if not I will be on to PayPal to see if I can recover my money.
Hi @Derek I had a little look about and found this Boe seemed to have a problem https://www.ducatisupersport939.net...50-s-download-service-manual-pdf.20700/page-2
Yes, I'm on that forum and have seen that thread which is where I got the link. Boe did eventually manage to get a successful download.
If the vendor does send you a new link you might want to try a download manager Derek. They can often help with difficulty in downloading files due to server disconnects and bandwidth issues. This is one of the most commonly used ones. https://www.freedownloadmanager.org/download.htm
A bit late but I'll bear that in mind for any future occasions. On a brighter note. Although I've had no reply to my emails a refund mysteriously appeared in my PayPal account this morning, so at least I'm not out of pocket. Some communication wold have been useful though.
